Ms. Sam
Head Teacher
Sam is the Lead Teacher of the Maple classroom and started working at a place to grow
Montessori in 2015. Prior to this she worked as an assistant teacher, a one-on-one aid, and the
child care coordinator for the school. Sam received her American Montessori Society (AMS)
credential from the Montessori Teacher Education Center San Francisco Bay Area in June of
2018.
She has also attended College of the Sequoias with studies in Early Childhood
Development and hopes to obtain a BA degree in the near future. Sam was first introduced to
Montessori when she attended Greenhouse Montessori preschool & kindergarten. She brings a
love for nature, a love for compassion, and a love for children, to her work each day.
