Ms. Jessica

Lead Teacher

Jessica has worked with kids for most of her life. She began nannying at 16 years old in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, taught dance to elementary school children, coached soccer to 3-14 year-olds, designed and implemented programs for 2-18 years old at athlete training gyms, and more. After a four-year career as a strength and conditioning coach/personal trainer for athletes of all ages and levels at The Spot Athletics in Columbus, Ohio, and graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Education from Ohio State University in 2016, she missed taking care of kids and needed a career change. A family she used to work for suggested she apply to work at their children's school in Cleveland. She jumped into a lead toddler teacher position, immediately falling in love with teaching littles.

Jessica remained a Lead Toddler Teacher in Cleveland and then Toledo, Ohio, for a total of 4 years before moving to Visalia, California, in the Summer of 2021 with her now-fiancé for his surgical residency program at Kaweah Health. When they met by chance during morning drop-off at Greenhouse Montessori School, Nina Clancy scooped her up and took her under her wing. She's been heavily involved in the community through Montessori and beyond ever since. In 2023, Jessica completed her training and internship for Montessori Early Childhood Teaching and earned her Central California Montessori Education certification. She wholeheartedly believes in the Montessori Philosophy of "following the child" and "establishing peace is the work of education." She loves all the children who come into her care dearly and passionately invests in their education and development.
