Mr. Marius
Head Teacher
Marius has been with a place to grow Montessori since 2014, where he first assisted for a year in the Aspen class. He has been a lead teacher since 2015 and had the pleasure to co-teach with Ms. Yadira in the Oak Classroom for one and a half years. Marius was born and raised in the Philippines, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from University of Santo Tomas. Marius worked with sales and marketing from a Multinational Pharmaceutical company for 12 years prior to moving to United States in 2012. Upon learning about Montessori, Marius entered training and received his American Montessori Society (AMS) Early Childhood credential from the Montessori Teacher Education Center San Francisco Bay Area in San Leandro, California.
Marius enjoys traveling and has traveled to many places around the world and loves to incorporate cultural diversity in his classroom. He is passionate about showing the joys of the learning process and guiding children in their learning journey.
